CHEERS! Let's celebrate the holiday season among friends who've come from all over the world, and it does not matter whether you are Christian, or not. It's the happiest time of the year, so let's kindle the fire of friendship, hospitality, peace and joy to the world.
Once again, Tia has graciously offered to host this special gathering at her home in Chula Vista. We thank her wholehertedly for her generosity and welcoming spirit.
THEME: Display your holiday spirit with what you wear. Whether its an entire ensemble, or just accessories (scarves, hats, shoes, jewelry, etc.). Marcella will give a prize to the best dressed member for the holiday. Okay, okay, please just don't come looking gorgeous like this:

PARTY FOODS: Holiday cookies and hors d'oeuvres; egg nog, tea, coffee and other holiday beverages.
NOTE: You may either bring your ingredients for the cookies and bake them at Tia's, or bring the cookies to the party already baked. Here are some examples of hors d'oeuvres:

PARTY GAMES: Have ideas? Please share them with us. Here's an example:
Holiday Time Capsule. Write your secret wish on a piece of paper, sign it, and insert it in a sealed envelope. We will open it during next year's Christmas party and see if your wish came true. (I will provide the holiday greeting cards for your use.)
Thank you, ladies.  See you at the party.

Maria:  FOR THE POTLUCK: Since most of you will be contributing holiday cookies (preferably from your native country) and hors d'oeuvres or appetizers and beverages, I decided to bring a big bowl of healthy salad (kale, Romaine lettuce and other leafy vegies, plus a concoction of nuts (walnut, almond, pumpkin chia, flax) and berries, cheese, with my homemade dressing. I will also bring some substantial meaty egg rolls. My sister Norma will bring a hearty Asian noodle meal (Philippine "Pansit"), enough for everybody to enjoy. Bon appetit.

Marcella:  Ladies, since I am a fashion person. we will have a prize for the best dressed of the night. Your outfit have to be winter style, play with your accessories!(scarf, hats, poncho, wrap etc etc) It can be Christmas theme or not. It doesn't matter.  it doesnt have to be a christmas costume. It ccan be any winter accesories, like scarf, hats, poncho, etc etc..
